Background
HYPOXI® has designed three different machines to help shape the body using their “exercise and massage” system that has been shown to work so efficiently. These machines are shown and detailed below, click any image for a larger view....
HYPOXI L250
The L250 operates similarly to a normal exercise bike, except that the individual is enclosed within a vacuum chamber from the hips down. Throughout the treatment, various degrees of negative pressure are applied to the skin while the client is cycling. This stimulates blood supply to the fatty tissue around the hips, buttock and thigh region – an area which traditionally, for pear shaped women, has poor blood supply.
The intermittent vacuum intervals during the program accelerate the transport of the fat enriched blood to the muscles.
HYPOXI VACUNAUT
The Vacunaut operates similarly to a normal treadmill trainer, except that the individual is wearing a negative pressure suit made of airtight neoprene. During gentle training, the 122 vacuum chambers built into the suit alternate between negative and positive pressure, stimulating abdominal muscle contractions. The negative pressure acts like a vacuum - sucking the blood into the fatty tissue of the stomach and hips, allowing the blood to be enriched with fatty acids.
During the positive pressure phase, the fatty acid enriched blood is pushed from the dermal tissue into the bloodstream and transported to the muscles, where the fatty acids are burnt off as fuel for movement.
HYPOXI S120
The S120 acts similarly to a stationary exercise bike, except that the individual is enclosed in an upright capsule from the waist downwards. The vacuum sealed chamber applies a unique combination of both negative pressure and compression therapy (positive pressure) on the skin during training. The negative pressure acts like a vacuum - sucking the blood into the fatty tissue of the hips, buttocks and thighs, allowing the blood to be enriched with fatty acids. During the positive pressure phase, the fatty acid enriched blood is pushed from the dermal tissue into the bloodstream and transported to the muscles, where the fatty acids are burnt off as fuel for movement.
The S120 is noted to have rapid results and is a highly effective method of lymphatic drainage. The S120 has some therapeutic applications and is used on clients recovering from injury and athletes recovering from competition.
